#61: Sami Khan, CEO and Co-Founder of Cerberus Interactive, on Growing Businesses Worth Over $3 Billion and Creating a Marketing-first Mobile Gaming Company

Sami is Co-Founder and CEO of Cerberus Interactive and a digital marketer specializing in consumer-facing startups. In the last 48 months, Sami has helped create and execute growth strategies for multiple businesses now worth over $3B.

Sami was the first marketing hire for the micro-investing app Acorns, where he led the strategy that generated the company’s first 2 million investment accounts. Sami also advised Honey, the money-saving browser extension, where he executed paid growth strategies to scale the business past their first 1 million downloads.

His industry-leading work has been featured in multiple case studies published by Facebook, Twitter, and Adweek. In 2017, Sami co-founded one of the fastest growing Facebook and Instagram consulting firms for startups, where he and his team have helped guide over 40 companies. Sami was born and raised in New Orleans where he also attended Tulane University.
