#62 Elissa Grossman, Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at USC, on Experiential Learning, Educational Games, and Launching Businesses

Elissa Grossman is an entrepreneurship educator with particular interests in experiential learning, technology-enhanced instruction, and serious educational games. Dr. Grossman's research interests include these topics and, more broadly, the topic of social network construction and use in new venturing – encompassing traditional network development for startup resource acquisition and crowd-funding.

Her work has been published in journals including Journal of Management and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. Prior to becoming a professor, Dr. Grossman worked in brand and marketing management for companies including Procter & Gamble, Sun Microsystems, and LiveCapital (a start-up acquired by Dun & Bradstreet). PhD, MBA, UCLA; MSc, London School of Economics; AB, Harvard University.
